These terms of delivery define how the delivery of materials, equipment and other goods is carried out and how the provision of services is organized when customers order work from JSC “Gerbūvio Projektai”. All processes are organized in such a way as to ensure maximum accuracy, security and smooth cooperation with both private and corporate clients.

1. General principle of delivery

Most of the services we provide are related to construction, infrastructure, landscaping or earthworks, so delivery most often means not only the delivery of materials to the facility, but also the organization of the entire technological process: from planning transportation to loading and unloading.
Since each object is different, the terms of delivery always depend on the specifics of a particular project and are adjusted individually. We always strive to offer the optimal solution according to the location of the object, access possibilities, quantity of materials and deadlines.

2. Delivery area and terms

Our company delivers materials and equipment throughout Lithuania. Most of the time, orders are made in Kaunas, Vilnius and the surrounding districts, but if necessary, we also arrive in further regions.
Delivery time depends on material availability, production schedule, occupancy of excavators, loaders or other mechanisms, and weather conditions. Most often, materials are delivered within 1-5 business days of order confirmation, while larger projects are planned in advance and deadlines are negotiated individually. If the project is urgent, we always provide the client with a realistic and reasonable deadline that we can guarantee.

3. Conditions of transportation and unloading

At the time of delivery, the responsibility for the transportation process lies with our company, and the customer is responsible for creating suitable conditions on the territory of the object. In order for unloading and work to proceed smoothly, it is necessary to ensure that vehicles have the possibility of safe access and manoeuvring.
If the object is difficult to reach, wet ground is involved, narrow access or the construction site has other restrictions, the customer is obliged to inform about this in advance. In this case, we can choose the appropriate transport, an alternative method of unloading or additional means only by knowing all the circumstances.

Unloading work is usually carried out by our own equipment (loaders, manipulators or other equipment), but in some cases it can also be carried out by the customer if it is planned to do so.

4. Shipping prices and rates

The cost of delivery depends on several items:

  • the amount and weight of substances,
  • distance to the object,
  • the type of technique used,
  • the complexity of unloading,
  • whether additional work is required (manual unloading, material hauling, gravel unfolding, etc.).

Before confirming the order, we always provide a clearly stated price so that the customer knows the full delivery estimate in advance. If additional works or needs arise during the project, their cost is also discussed in advance, before carrying out actions.

5. Responsibilities of the customer at the time of delivery

In order to ensure a safe and smooth delivery process, we ask customers to:

  • ensure free and safe access to the object;
  • make it possible for transport to maneuver and unload;
  • where appropriate, specify the specific landing site;
  • ensure that the territory is marked and inform about hidden networks (gas pipeline, cable, etc.);
  • specify the contact person who will accept the delivery and confirm the actions taken.

If transport cannot reach the property due to unannounced circumstances, an additional entry fee may apply.

6. Liability and Risk Allocation

As long as the materials or equipment are in our vehicle, the responsibility for their safety lies with us. After unloading the materials at the place specified by the customer, the risk passes to the customer.
If the customer wishes to transfer materials to hard-to-reach places, these works are carried out only after assessing the technical capabilities and individually coordinating the distribution of responsibilities.
In case of unsuccessful delivery (due to impassable road, unprepared soil, built-up area or unmentioned obstacles), the customer may be charged an additional fee for re-arrival.

7. Alignment of delivery time

We always coordinate a specific time and date with the customer before delivery. Our team strives to arrive at exactly the agreed time, but in certain cases, especially during intense earthworks or adverse weather conditions, the delivery schedule may vary. In such cases, the client is informed in advance and the nearest possible time is given.

8. Conditions of Force Majeure

Delivery may be delayed or impossible due to circumstances beyond our control: extreme weather, road conditions, restrictions by public authorities, equipment failures, strikes or other unforeseen situations. In such cases, liability does not apply to the customer, but we undertake to resume delivery as soon as possible when this becomes possible.
