Enterprise Welfare Projects Turnover Grows with Expandable Service Package and Road Projects

Company “Welfare Projects” for 13 years he has specialized in paving, concreting, road construction, paving, small architecture, engineering network construction, special equipment rental, sale of paving elements and other welfare works. Antanas Magrinas, the head of the company, says that earlier the company implemented 2-3 larger projects per year, and in 2023 the portfolio of orders already included 15 projects, each worth from 100 thousand euros to 1.5 million euros. In 2024, it is planned to implement twice as many projects as in the previous year. The company's breakthrough was due to its focus on the projects of the Lithuanian Road Administration (Road Administration), in which it participates as contractors.

Among the environmental projects - exceptional objects

The company participates in important public projects. One of these is the management of Taurus Hill in Vilnius. After arranging the mountain environment, it will be adapted to the leisure of the townspeople: the old children's playground will be renovated and a new one will be built, quiet recreation and sports areas with outdoor simulators, and a parking lot will be installed. Another outstanding project is the Artery Business Center, designed by the American architect D. Libeskind and built on Constitution Avenue in the capital, where the company installed about 6.5 thousand square meters of pavement, ranging from pavers to massive concrete and granite paving slabs weighing up to 100 kg. This was not only the installation of a new coating, but also dismantling work, carried out in difficult conditions, at great depths, labyrinths between the communication networks of the capital. Specialists of the company demonstrated the ability to accurately equip turning zones.

One of the largest in terms of volume and perhaps the most complex environmental installation projects of the company was the project implemented in Molėtai, Teltonikos Technology Center in 2022, when it was necessary not only to clean up the environment - to lay as many as 9 thousand sq. m of concrete pavers, to plant it, but also to prepare the foundations for concreting the floor of a building with an area of 7 thousand sq. m.. Among the works are the creation of well-being around the modern business center “Doko” in Kaunas, the renovated environment of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, the implementation of a number of other projects, where, in addition to traditional environmental works, rain engineering networks and parking lots were installed.

The company works with one of the largest construction contractors in Lithuania. One of them is UAB “Baltijos Pašvainė”. According to the customer's requirements, Raudondvario pl. 131C, Kaunas, installation of existing car parks with pedestrian paths: from earthworks to laying concrete tiles of different patterns and plastic honeycomb. It is installed over 3 km of hardened steel, street and lawn sidewalks, close to 7 thousand square meters of concrete pavers and plastic honeycomb cover.

At present, according to the requirements of the same customer, a complex and painstaking project for the reconstruction of BLS (Baltic Logistic Solutions) storage buildings is being implemented in Kaunas district (Kampiškių kaimas, Alšėnai g. 10), where excavation and planning works, foundation installation, road surface construction installation, asphalting, pavements are carried out marking, landscaping of the territory and other welfare works.

One such project, which was implemented very quickly — within 3 weeks — was the installation of the “Švaros brolių” car wash in Kaunas (Balave. 22) and the improvement of the environment. We have done complex work together with our partners,” says A.Magrinas.

The company also managed the environment of the KTU engineering lyceum, installed the central square of Elektrėnai, equipped the common spaces of Kaišiadorys in the heritage project “Kaunakiemio apartamentai”, renovated the apartment block Topg. 2, the surroundings of Kaunas, as well as the pedestrian paths of Kareivič Street in Vilnius were reconstructed.

The reconstruction project of VNO Vilnius Airport was launched this year, in which Gerbūvio projektai is laying pavers, installing lawns and concrete and granite roadsides. The company received an invitation to submit proposals for reconstruction of Kaunas and Palanga airports.

In this project, complex roundabouts are installed from granite countertops and pavers specially commissioned for this project. The company solves not only the management challenges that arise when there are many brigades working at the facility, but also the logistics challenges of products, when their shipment is caused by problems on the global market, such as ongoing wars or strained ships, when the best alternative solutions are sought to ensure the timely implementation of the project.

While the company has recently focused on major transportation infrastructure projects, the order portfolio also includes projects for bicycle paths, parking lots, private streets, installation of storm sewage wells, installation of road or lawn curbs, and other related services. Our support is the accumulated experience of the company, which we have acquired during various projects, including reconstructed J.Janonis and J.Zikar streets in Kačerginė, together with sidewalks and pedestrian paths, concrete curbs and pavers installed in Kaunas P.Kalpokas Street. Experience was also provided by works on roads of national importance, for example, the reconstructed section of the Kaunas-Jurbarkas-Šilutė road about 600 m, where we installed sidewalks, prepared foundations for concrete pavement and laid it. Also last year, the overhaul of one of the sections of the district road, Giraitė-Užliedzai, of state significance, began, arranging intersections, widening the traffic lane, renovating the existing road, installing security islands, pedestrian paths, arranging roadsides, installing road signs. Not only construction work was carried out, but also laboratory tests, geodetic measurements, organization of temporary traffic and other procedures of construction work,” says the head of the company A.Magrinas.

Completes a package of services for equipping individual home environments

“We complete a package of services for the furnishing of individual homes. Therefore, we are ready not only to enclose the fence, arrange the yard, install paving, landscaping, install an irrigation system, but we can install a terrace, install a heated pool together with our partners,” says A.Magrinas. The company provides these services in Vilnius and Kaunas regions.

Outdoor work usually stops in the cold season. In order to make efficient use of those months, which usually become a forced break, the company is embarking on a new field - it will carry out interior decoration works.
