Sanitex office: in the city as in the forest

Paths and parking lots required precise teamwork

The company “Gerbūvio projektai”, which has been specializing in asphalting, concreting, road construction, paving and landscaping for 13 years, implemented the work in an exceptional project in stages. Parking lots with pedestrian paths have been installed, earthworks have been carried out, concrete tiles of different patterns have been laid. In total, up to 3 km of hardened steel, street and lawn sidewalks were used, about 7000 sq. m of concrete pavers and plastic honeycomb coverings were created.

According to the head of the company, Antanas Magrin, while the old coating of the parking lot was dismantled and new pavers were laid, it was necessary to adapt to the simultaneous laying of electrical networks. The works were carried out in small areas and as soon as they were completed, the main parking lot was immediately put into use.

“The facility was not particularly complex, but solutions were sought to carry out the work in stages so that Sanitex employees had access to parking spaces,” A. Gediminas Švambaris, the project manager, supports Magrin. — Maintaining the symmetry of the roofs of the entire site required meticulous care. Due to the minimal slopes in the entry and exit area, we had to look for solutions for additional rainwater collection and implement professionally designed solutions.”

“We have solved all the issues of coordinating the work of different contractors in a constructive way and we have overcome the challenges thanks to good communication with “Baltijos Pašvaiste” and the clients of the project”, emphasizes A. Magrinas.

The parking lot is distinguished not only by the greenery that surrounds it, but also by the marking of parking spaces with different tile patterns. Laying some non-standard sized tiles required exceptional diligence from the Goodwill Projects team, requiring both mechanized and manual labor. Precisely laid winding paths in the green area and the path leading to the office building are equipped with additional parking made of plastic openwork tiles.

After successfully completing the work in the Sanitex office, the company continues cooperation with the general contractor “Baltijos Pašvainė” and on other projects.

Over a dozen years of activity, the Goodwill Projects team has accumulated comprehensive experience necessary for the implementation of various projects. The company paves streets, sites, prepares the foundations of the road, installs part of the LVN, curbs of the road and lawn, lays pavers. Some of the most recent projects are land and welfare works on the territory of the reconstructed BLS (Baltic Logistic Solutions) storage buildings, management of Taurus Hill in Vilnius, welfare works of Vilnius Airport and the section of the A14 Vilnius-Utena highway. Significant contribution of the company also to the installation of landscape solutions for the Artery business center of the capital.
