Pavers one of the most durable and durable coatings, which is resistant to weather conditions, erosion, ideal for covering paths, sites, courtyards, streets, sidewalks, stairs. Pads can be made from a variety of materials, so it is possible to extract a mosaic of different colors. But how and what are pads made of?
The most popular and commonly used pavers are concrete. For the production of this type of paving, stainless raw materials are used - fine and coarse filler (sand, granite sieves), binding agents (cement) and additives (granite sieves, pigments). One of the most important operations in production technology is the preparation of concrete mix. After mixing all the constituent components, you should get a mixture in which physicochemical interaction would begin - fine and large particles are covered with a uniform layer of cement, the mortar is distributed evenly.
After the mortar is made, the process of forming the pads begins. Pads can be pressed or cast. The method of making pressed pads is cheaper and more durable, molded pads are not as resistant to the effects of nature as pressed ones, but they can be extracted in a wide variety of colors, often their surface is finer, patterns can be extracted. During the manufacture of the pads, they are placed in the desired molds, then the molds with the filled mortar must be vibrated so that foam (porous layer) appears on the surface, then the pads are left to solidify and after a day it is already possible to start removing the pads from the molds and observe the results.
Although the process of making pads seems very easy and uncomplicated, it can be difficult to make pads at home, so it is always recommended to go to professionals who will answer all the questions you have and help you make the best decision.
