The method of making pressed pads is cheaper and more durable, molded pads are not as resistant to the effects of nature as pressed ones, but they can be extracted in a wide variety of colors, often their surface is finer, patterns can be extracted. During the manufacture of the pads, they are placed in the desired molds, then the molds with the filled mortar must be vibrated so that foam (porous layer) appears on the surface, then the pads are left to solidify and after a day it is already possible to start removing the pads from the molds and observe the results.
