Giraitė — Floodplain Road

District road of state significance No. 1921 Grovetė-Užliedzai section (from 0.118 km to 0.334 km) underwent major repairs. The project included conversion of intersections, widening of the carriageway, installation of safety islands, curbside management, new road signs and road markings. Pedestrian paths and 370 m² of pavement are installed, 473 m of road and lawn sidewalks are installed. Works on the base and top layer of asphalt concrete were carried out (a total of 2300 m²), the use of bitumen emulsion, milling and removal of the old coating. Slope reinforcement and landscaping work (650 m²), geodetic measurements, laboratory tests and organization of temporary traffic were also carried out.
