Reconstruction of the A5 Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suwałki Highway (km 85.00–97.06)

The UAB “Gerbūvio projektai” team successfully delivered a stage of the reconstruction of the A5 Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suwałki main highway, in the section from km 85.00 to km 97.06.

Works Completed in This Stage

• Installation of street curbs
• Base preparation and installation of 1,815 m² of concrete paver surfacing
• Installation of an accessible tactile guidance system for people with visual impairments

The implemented solutions support safe, comfortable, and inclusive mobility, improving conditions for all road users—especially pedestrians and the visually impaired.

This project is an important part of the broader modernization of the A5 highway, aimed at achieving higher standards of infrastructure quality and traffic safety.
